Description
The GM fuel system consists of fuel filter, fuel pump, gas lines, the gas tank, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system delivers and stores where it is vaporized fuel to the cylinders, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your GM’s gas pedal, you control the amount of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls amount of gas much air to let in.
The mixed gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited from the spark plug, producing a clean burn that powers the GM.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your GM’s gas filter eliminated and replaced with a new one that meets with your manufacturer’s recommendations.
